Our online yarnshop contains all our products, services and print material related to wool, knitting, crochet and crafting. All our yarns are carefully sourced from responsible yarn producers in Wales and the UK.

• Hand Dyed Yarn

  All our hand dyed yarn is dyed with natural dyes only, in various weights and colours. All our yarn is supplied in a skein or hank. If you purchase any yarn from our online yarn shop but would prefer it in a ball, we will do this for you free of charge.

• Undyed Yarn

  Undyed yarn in its natural state for you to dye in your home.

• British and Welsh Yarn

  Ethically sourced British yarn and specialising in Welsh Yarn, for example Welsh Mule, Mountain Black and Llawenog breeds.

• World Leading Magazines and Books

  For knitters and crafters, including Laine books and Faire and Laine magazines.

• Luxury Tools and Accessories

  For knitters and crafters. Online stockists of Cocoknits, Cohana, LYKKE, muud and Thread and Maple brands. Handmade yarn bowls with our unique leather handles.

• Natural Dye Craft Courses

  Our workshops are led by an experienced tutor, recently featured in The Knitter in the series on Artisan Yarn makers.

YarnShop - Hand Dyed Yarn

Our hand dyed yarn is handmade in small batches, only with natural dyes, from the finest British and Welsh yarn in our FelinFach Dye Studio, Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK. 

By using quality natural fibre and sourcing ethically produced natural dyes, we are able to produce beautiful hand dyed yarn. The colours from natural dyed yarn are enthralling. Hand dyed yarns may be repeated but they can never be exactly the same. The natural dyeing process will depend on where the dyestuff was grown, how and when it was harvested, the fibres being dyed, and the method of application we use. Cocoknits, Cohana, LYKKE, muud and Thread and Maple are leading brands in the crafting knitting world. Cocoknits has a smart range of knick-knacks designed to keep your yarn projects on track. Cohana's  handmade tools are probably the best available for the job, but also, they are beautiful if not exquisite. LYKKE's handcrafted knitting needles and crochet hooks are both beautiful and also practical. muud and Thread and Maple have premium storage solutions for your crochet or knitting projects.

YarnShop - Yarn Bowls

Our yarn bowls are designed by FelinFach in ceramic with our unique, distinctive and much-loved leather handles. Each bowl is individually hand made. Once complete, the leather handles are made and finished by hand at the FelinFach Dye Studio. We use traditional, vegetable tanned leather sourced within the UK. Out ceramic and wooden yarn bowls can hold 100-gram balls of wool and yarn.

Yarn Shop - Natural Dye Craft Courses

If you are interested in dyeing your own yarn, our natural dye kits which contain everything you need to start your natural dyeing journey. If, however, you would like to fully immerse yourselves in the natural dyeing concept, you could try a Natural Dyeing Craft Course for 1 or 2 days in a purpose designed Dye Studio with expert tuition.

Learn or develop your skills in our FelinFach Dye Studio with a range of courses. Expert tuition in a professional, purpose designed dye studio environment with Half-day, 1- and 2-day courses. Our workshops are led by an experienced tutor, recently featured in The Knitter in the series on Artisan Yarn makers.
