Location
The FelinFach Dye Studio is located in the SA37 postcode area of Pembrokeshire - nearest villages are Boncath, Crymych and Eglwyswrw. If you enrol on any course, we will send you a map prior to your course.
Craft Courses and Workshops
The craft courses are a hands-on learning experience using ancient dyes such as Madder, Weld, and Cochineal, to name a few, in their natural form as well as extract. These craft courses,
- are suitable for complete beginners and those that have a little experience. They are the foundation blocks of good practice for you to build and develop your own natural dye journey.
- have one Tutor and a maximum number of four students. Spaces are limited to ensure you receive as much guidance as you need.
The courses cover the natural dyeing of,
- Protein Fibres - animal fibres such as sheep wool, yak, alpaca etc.
- Cellulose Fibres - plant fibres such as cotton, hemp, linen etc.
FelinFach Dye Studio
Each craft course is held in the purpose designed and self-contained dye studio for up to 4 students at any one time. Each student has their individual workstation.
