Workshops - Terms and Conditions

By booking and paying for a workshop confirms your acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

Booking your Workshop

Workshop bookings can only be made via our website, FelinFach.com  – if, for whatever reason, you cannot use our website, please email and we will assist you to complete your workshop booking.

Workshop Booking and Payment Confirmation

Payment for the workshop is due in full at the time of booking. On our website, you can pay using debit and credit cards, PayPal, with FelinFach.com Gift Vouchers and with our Clearpay instalment plan. You will receive a receipt by email which will confirm your workshop booking, the dates of the workshop and the amount paid. Any booking is considered provisional until payment in full is received.

If you decide to use the Clearpay instalment payment plan, you can pay interest free over four instalments – click here for details. Paying with Clearpay is equivalent to paying in full.

Lunch and Snacks

We provide lunch and snacks as the location is some 3 miles from a shop. We provide a selection of sandwiches (for example, cheese, ham and chicken salad) and biscuits and Welsh cakes. We do not certify that these sandwiches and snacks are nut or gluten free. If you are unsure of your own dietary necessities, please bring your own pack lunch. We also provide, tea, coffee, still and sparking bottled water.

Discount Codes

We do not accept any discount codes on workshop fees.

Cancellations and Refunds Policy

Covid 19 - We will refund you in full if Government requires us to cancel/postpone a workshop.

If a student wishes to cancel their booking:

  1. Within 14 days of the original booking, we will refund the full course fee (unless it is booked within 8 weeks of the workshop date).
  2. More than one week but less than eight weeks before the workshop, if we are able to resell your place, we offer refund of the workshop fee less an administrative fee of £25.
  3. Less than one week before the workshop, or no-shows on the day: no refund or transfer is offered.

We maintain a ‘waiting list’ for all workshops and will aim to replace any cancellation with another student.

We do not cancel workshops for any reason except entirely unavoidable events such as if the Workshop Tutor is physically unable to teach the workshop through sickness or injury or extreme weather conditions. Should we have to cancel a workshop, students will be offered an alternative workshop date or a full refund. If a workshop is cancelled by us, we regret that we will not accept responsibility for travel, accommodation or any other related expenses.

Student Conduct 

We retain the right to refuse to accept individuals on to any workshop. If the workshop has already been booked the workshop fee will be refunded.  

Photography

We may take photographs of students and their work for the purposes of marketing. We will request permission at the time to allow us to use any images for marketing purposes.

Health and Safety and Insurance

Your workshop materials will include our health and safety procedures. We request that you read them thoroughly. In any event, the first 15 minutes of any of our workshops will be spent familiarising everyone with health and safety rules.

We are fully insured for £1m of Public Liability insurance and the certificate is available for inspection at all times in the Natural Dye Studio.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspects of the workshop, please bring it to the attention of the Tutor at the time. We will try to resolve any issues whilst the workshop is progressing. You will be asked to provide a Review of the workshop by email after you have completed the workshop. Feedback is important to us, whether it is positive or not.
