"Ar Lan y Môr" ("Beside the Sea") is a traditional Welsh folk song. Various forms of the text exist, including some where the metre and subject of some verses suggest insertions from other unrelated songs. The song is a love song. As with many other Welsh songs, there are alternative words set to the same tune. The composer of the melody and the lyrics is unknown
Natural Traditional Handmade - The beauty and uniqueness of handmade wool products - traditionally hand woven Welsh blankets and throws, the iconic Welsh tapestry blankets, scarves and hand dyed yarn with natural dyes
Ar lan y môr mae rhosys cochion
Ar lan y môr mae carreg wastad
Ar lan y môr mae cerrig gleision
Llawn yw'r môr o swnd a chegryn
Mor hardd yw'r haul yn codi'r bore
Down by the sea red roses are blooming;
Down where the sea laps at the flat rock
By the seaside are blue stones
Full the sea of sand and billows
Fair the sun at new day’s dawning

Nobody loves natural fibres more than we do. Cotton, silk, cashmere, mohair and of course wool. We love them because they are less damaging to the environment, they are natural sustainable products, their breathable qualities make them soft and airy against the skin. It is therefore unfortunate that moths also like natural fibres and we need to control and eliminate them, preferably in a natural way!!!

Offas Dyke is a 177 mile (285 kilometre) footpath that was officially opened on 10th July 1971. It is one of Britain's National Trails and is also Britain’s longest ancient monument. In the 8th century, King Offa of Mercia erected this wide border rampart to separate Wales and England. Much later, in 1971 Offa's Dyke path was placed alongside it, from Chepstow in South Wales to Prestatyn in the North.
