What is a Container Candle

A container candle is a type of candle that is poured into a container, such as a glass jar, tin, or ceramic vessel, instead of being molded or shaped into a free-standing form. The container serves as a holder for the wax and also helps to control the burn of the candle. As the candle burns, the wax melts and pools inside the container, and the wick draws up the melted wax to fuel the flame. Because the wax is contained, there is less risk of the wax spilling or dripping onto surfaces, making container candles a popular choice for home use.
