1. Poppit Sands: Nestled at the mouth of the Teifi Estuary in Wales, Poppit Sands Beach charms visitors with its vast expanse of golden sand. The beach stretches for nearly half a mile, transforming into a playground at low tide when its true size explodes. Sheltered from harsh winds, Poppit Sands welcomes water enthusiasts with calm waves ideal for swimming, kayaking, and surfing. Lifeguards patrol during peak season, offering peace of mind. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs right by, enticing adventurers with breath-taking coastal views. 2. Ceibwr Bay Beach: A small inlet on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path with much to offer. It's owned by the National Trust and is a beautiful, unspoilt picnic area with swimming if you make it over shingly and pebbly sand. A little way to the south is a large collapsed cave forming a massive blow hole in the clifftop.

3. Newport Sands: This vast, golden crescent (also known as Traeth Mawr) is a haven for families and water sports enthusiasts. Safe swimming, excellent surfing conditions, and ample space for sandcastle building make it a true crowd-pleaser.

    

   

4. Newport Parrog: Possibly more of a harbour than a beach but at low tide you can walk through the river ot the main Newport beach.
5. Whitesands Bay: This award-winning beach combines a wide expanse of soft sand with dramatic cliffs and rock pools, ideal for exploring. Popular with surfers and bodyboarders, it also offers sheltered coves for quieter moments.
6. Newgale Beach: This 2-mile stretch of pristine sand is a surfer's paradise, known for its consistent waves and long rides. Low tide reveals a vast playground for beach games, kite flying, and exploring rock pools.

   

7. Abereiddi Beach: Sheltered by towering cliffs, this secluded cove offers a tranquil escape. Reachable via a steep footpath, it rewards adventurers with crystal-clear waters, perfect for swimming, kayaking, and even coasteering.
8. Cwm yr Eglwys: This secluded beach, accessible only by foot, is a true hidden gem. Surrounded by cliffs and dunes, it offers a sense of remoteness and pristine beauty. Pack a picnic and enjoy the tranquillity.

   

9. Pwll Deri: This small, sandy cove is a surfers' favourite, especially for beginners. Sheltered from the prevailing winds, it offers consistent waves and a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy delicious seafood at the nearby café after your session.
10. Aber Mawr: This vast expanse of sand is perfect for long walks and soaking up the scenery. Backed by dunes and farmland, it offers a sense of wildness and peace. Keep an eye out for seals basking on the rocks.
