Wales based Garthenor Yarns are 100% organic yarns, certified to Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS). Fullylly traceable, completely climate positive and outstandingly organic.

All Garthenor yarns are sourced within the UK, are eco-friendly and sustainable. The wool is spun into yarn in the Garthenor mill in Cardigan town, Wales. Farm to yarn within the UK.

Hand Dyed Yarn and Undyed Yarn

Our hand dyed Garthenor yarn is dyed in Pembrokeshire with natural dyes only. There are no exceptions to this – this yarn is traceble, sustainable and organic and dyed only with natural dyes.

We also have a selection of undyed Garthenor yarns finished and ready for your knitting projects or hand dyeing. Not everyone wants their yarn to be dyed for them. You may want the natural colours of the fleece in your knitting project, or you may wish to hand dye yarn yourself.
