What is Shop Pay Installments?
Shop Pay Installments allows you to split your purchase into flexible payment options when you checkout with Shop Pay. You can choose to pay in 3 interest-free monthly payments or longer-term monthly payments with interest, depending on your order amount.
What payment options are available in the UK?
3 Interest-Free Payments: For orders from £50 to £999.99, you can split your purchase into 3 equal, interest-free payments. The first payment is due at checkout, with the remaining 2 payments charged monthly.
Monthly Installments: For orders over £150, you can choose monthly payments over 3, 6, 12, 18, or 24 months. These payments include interest with APR up to 35.99% (22% Representative APR).
How does the 3-payment option work?
Your purchase is divided into 3 equal payments spread over approximately 2 months:
- 1st payment: Due at checkout
- 2nd payment: Charged 1 month later
- 3rd payment: Charged 2 months after checkout
All payments are automatically charged to your saved payment method, and you'll receive email reminders before each payment.
What payment methods can I use?
Debit cards are accepted for all Shop Pay Installments orders. Credit cards may also be available for certain orders.
Are there any fees?
The 3-payment option is completely interest-free with no hidden fees. Monthly installment plans include interest charges as outlined during checkout.
What happens if I need to return something?
If you return an item paid for with installments, we'll process your refund back to your original payment method. Your remaining payment schedule will be adjusted accordingly. For monthly installment plans, any interest already paid is not refundable.
Will I get reminders about upcoming payments?
Yes! You'll receive email reminders before each automatic payment is charged to your card.
How do I choose Shop Pay Installments?
Simply select Shop Pay at checkout, then choose your preferred installment option from the available plans for your order amount.
