All our hand dyed yarn for sale is dyed with natural dyes only, in various weights and colours. All our yarn is supplied in a skein or hank. If you purchase any yarn from our online yarn shop but would prefer it in a ball, we will do this for you free of charge.

Our hand dyed yarn is handmade in small batches, only with natural dyes, from the finest British and Welsh yarn in our FelinFach Dye Studio, Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK.
By using quality natural fibre and sourcing ethically produced natural dyes, we are able to produce beautiful hand dyed yarn. The colours from natural dyed yarn are enthralling. Hand dyed yarns may be repeated but they can never be exactly the same. The natural dyeing process will depend on where the dyestuff was grown, how and when it was harvested, the fibres being dyed, and the method of application we use. Cohana's handmade tools are probably the best available for the job, but also, they are beautiful if not exquisite. LYKKE's handcrafted knitting needles and crochet hooks are both beautiful and also practical. muud and Thread and Maple have premium storage solutions for your crochet or knitting projects.
Our yarn bowls are designed by FelinFach in ceramic with our unique, distinctive and much-loved leather handles. Each bowl is individually hand made. Once complete, the leather handles are made and finished by hand at the FelinFach Dye Studio. We use traditional, vegetable tanned leather sourced within the UK. Out ceramic and wooden yarn bowls can hold 100-gram balls of wool and yarn.
If you are interested in dyeing your own yarn, our natural dye kits which contain everything you need to start your natural dyeing journey. If, however, you would like to fully immerse yourselves in the natural dyeing concept, you could try a Natural Dyeing Craft Course for 1 or 2 days in a purpose designed Dye Studio with expert tuition.
