The courses are held in the rural SA37 postcode area of Pembrokeshire - nearest villages are Boncath and Crymych and the coastal towns of Newport and Cardigan in West Wales.

Not really. Nearest railway station is some 20 miles away and a taxi would be necessary for the last 20 miles.
No really. We suggest that they are only suitable for children over 16 if accompanied by an adult.
There is plenty of free car parking on-site, usually one car per student.
What Courses Do You Offer
We offer a Half-Day beginner course on How to make Container Candles and to be able to make these candles safely at home.
Your tutor is a retired Chartered Accountant who has over 25 years' experience of candle making, both as a hobby and as a professional candle maker. The Tutor of this workshop makes all the candles, tealights, wax melts, reed diffusers and Hand Wash/Lotion for sale on this website.

Booking a Course
The courses are booked via the website, click here... Full payment is required at the time of booking and full payment guarantees your place on a workshop.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you cancel your booking:
Within 14 days of the original booking, we will refund the full course fee.
Less than one week before the workshop, no refund is available. (Subject to point one above).
A 'No-show' on the day with no notice is not refundable
More than two weeks but less than eight weeks before the workshop, if we are able to resell your place, we offer refund of the workshop fee less an administrative fee of £25.
Over eight weeks before the workshop, we will refund in full.
If you decide to postpone your booking to a later date, the dates referred to in points 1 to 5 above apply to the original booking date.
We do not cancel workshops for any reason except entirely unavoidable events such as if the Workshop Tutor is physically unable to teach the workshop through sickness or injury or extreme weather conditions.
Should we have to cancel a workshop, students will be offered an alternative workshop date or a full refund.
If a workshop is cancelled by us, we regret that we will not accept responsibility for travel, accommodation or any other related expenses.
What to Expect on the Day
Each course starts at 10.00am and finishes at 13.00pm.
Expert tuition in a professional in a purpose designed dye studio environment.
One Tutor and a maximum number of four students.
3.5 hours of guided tuition.
Guided tuition on the basic principles and practice of candle making.
After the theory part, the practical hands-on bit where you can make 3 candles yourself.
The workshop includes all the necessary materials and equipment.
You will take away from the workshop 3 candles that you have personally made. You will also have a file of information covering what you have learnt during the day.
We encourage everyone to take their candles home with them on the day, but they will need to be kept upright and safe on the journey home to make sure they set correctly.
