Peruvian Highland Mini

New yarn to FelinFach - Peruvian Highland Wool is sourced from small farms in the mountains local to the mill in Peru where the yarn is spun. The sheep are a Merino Corriedale cross, as the fleece is not as fine as Merino and it would have gone to waste. One of our yarn suppliers found this yarn on their travels and bought the whole clip, and in doing so, provided the local farmers a source of income they wouldn't normally have had. 

It is a lovely yarn that dyes beautifully, soft but durable, great stitch definition. Ideal to add a pop of colour to a project, toe and heel for socks also great for colourwork.  Links to our project books for inspiration, Click here...
