This two-day craft course will introduce you to hand dyeing with botanical dyes using protein fibres – (animal fibres) wool, yak and cellulose fibres (plant-based) cotton, linen etc. This is an introduction or refresher workshop which will provide you with the core skills needed for you to build upon and develop in your own time. Using a range of ancient natural plant dye extracts you will explore the process of using natural dyes.
