On 11th December 1282 at Cilmeri, a small village in mid-Wales, the last Welsh-born Prince of Wales, Prince Llywelyn ap Gruffudd was killed in battle with King Edward of England’s soldiers. The place where Llywelyn fell ismarked by a stone obelisk.
Cilmeri, remembering Prince Llywelyn "ein Llyw Olaf".
