Wax melts (also known as Wax Tarts) are not new! But it is fair to say, we believe, that they are not as well-known as candles. Wax melts are small, pieces of wax blended with fragrance oils but without a wick - also known as a 'wickless candle'. They come in many different shapes - squares, circles, hearts, stars, clamshells and even Christmas trees just to name a few! They are melted in a wax melt burner and as the wax melts, it fills up your room with the fragrance of the wax melt. The wax melt burner can be electric, or it can be a "tealight".

A Chandlery? - "a handmade maker and seller of tallow, wax candles, and also usually soap". A chandlery was originally the office in a wealthy medieval household responsible for wax, candles and soaps as well as the room in which the candles were kept.
We are a modern-day candle chandler, hand pouring candles using traditional methods and skills but also other fragrance items such as reed diffusers, tealights and wax melts.
Scents for Wax Melts
Our handmade candles are made in small batches using the finest quality 100% natural soy wax, infused with a blend of premium high-grade fragrance & essential oil recipes. Fragrance memory is quite a strong and evocative sense and we have named our handmade candles for a feeling or place that we think the fragrance captures. Wax Melt Burners
How Do I Use Wax Melts?
Using a wax melt is very straightforward. Take your wax melt and place it on the top of a wax melt burner, see images below. Depending on the size of your wax burner and melts, you usually need to use one or two wax melts to fill a room with fragrance. Place your tealight in the bottom of the wax melt burner and light it. In a short period of time, the wax will melt and the fragrance will waft around your room. We recommend that you start with one wax melt and if that doesn't produce enough fragrance for your room, try two.

What is a Tea Light?
A tealight is a small, inexpensive candle, with the candle wax and wick enclosed in a thin casing. Tealights are usually burned inside a wax melt burner with the resultant heat melting the wax melts and releasing fragrance into your room. When you extinguish your tealight, if there is any wax left, it will solidify and can be reused.
How Long do tealights Burn
Tealights will burn for between 3 and 4 hours in ideal conditions. Tealights do come in different sizes and as with all candles, where you burn a tealight can affect its burn time.
Soy Wax Tealights
All our handmade tealights are hand poured by us. They can be unscented or infused with premium fragrance oils. We use natural sustainable soy wax for our tealight wax which is vegan friendly, contains no animal products and it is not tested on animals.
