We hand pour our Welsh candles in Pembrokeshire, near to the coastal towns of Newport and Cardigan in West Wales. Without exception, all our candles are handmade and hand poured by us - we do not 'buy in' or resell candles.- truly a Welsh candle company.

Our Signature and 3 Wick candles all have Welsh names, for example Hiraeth, Dolau (Meadows), Cwed Cedrwydd (Cedar Trees), Cwed Pinrwydd (Pine Trees), Awel Hâf (Summer breeze) and Glan y Môr (Seaside) - Cwed is Pembrokeshire dialect for Coed (trees).

Our well known and much-loved signature candles are made in matt white and grey glass jars with branded oak wood lids and are finished with a wood wick. A Candle Chandler? - "a maker and seller of wax candles". We are a modern-day candle chandler, hand pouring candles in small batches at our Candle Studio, Pembrokeshire, Wales. Our wax is made from natural Soy Wax or a Soy and Coconut wax blend and is cruelty free and vegan. We do not use any paraffin waxes. The wicks we use are eco-friendly wood or cotton wicks that contain no metal. Our candles contain no dyes, parabens or additives.

We are based in the rural SA37 post code of Pembrokeshire, and we are asked from time to time, "is Pembrokeshire in Wales"!! Well, yes, it is. Pembrokeshire is on the southwestern coast of Wales and, as the crow flies, we are nearer to Ireland than to Cardiff!!

• Our Welsh candles, reed diffusers and wax melts are hand poured by us in small batches in Pembrokeshire.
• Our candles are handmade from natural plant-based candle waxes, such as soy, coconut, rapeseed or a blend. They do not contain any paraffin waxes or petroleum by-products.
• Plant-based candle waxes are sustainable, renewable and eco-friendly.
• Plant-based wax candles provides you with the longest, safest, cleanest burn and also has excellent fragrance-holding qualities.
• Our signature Welsh candles have wood wicks and are presented in a luxury white or grey glass jar with a FelinFach branded oak lid. Our three wick candles and Candles in Tins have eco-friendly cotton wicks.

Candle Accessories

All handmade candle lovers need a selection of accoutrements to enhance the perfect ambience of your home fragrance experience. Candle accessories, like, wax melt burners, wick trimmers and snuffers can be used to make your candles last longer, or burn cleaner, but can also keep their fragrance smelling as good as the first burn. To light our candles, choose the beautiful Archivist matches. The boxes with the long matches and extra-long matches are amazing and far too beautiful to throw away!

Welsh Candles - Candles in Tins

Handmade candles are available in glass jars but also in tins. These can provide protection for the candle, as well as add a decorative element to the candle. One of the great benefits of candles in a tin are that they are more robust that glass jar candles and can be taken anywhere. Tin candles always have lids, and the candle fragrance is preserved until you are ready to light them. They also come in a variety of scents and sizes, and the tin can be reused or repurposed after the candle has been burned.

Candle Safety

It is always important to treat your candles safely and with care. Please note the follow candle care advice... 

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Place candles on a stable surface away from flammable objects.
• Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
• Extinguish candles before going to bed or leaving the house.
• Do not place candles too close together.
