If you are looking for a more affordable, sustainable, and eco-friendly way to enjoy candles, then candle refills are a great option.

Tips for using Candle Refills

• Make sure that the refill is compatible with the candle jar.
• Clean the candle jar before refilling it.
• Trim the wick to 5 millimetres(1/4 inch) before lighting the candle.
• Do not burn the candle for more than four hours at a time.
• Let the candle cool completely before refilling it.

Placing the Candle Refill into the Candle Jar

If you have bought the correct sized candle refill, it may just slide into the candle jar as a perfect fit. This is a handmade product so it may not!

If it is just a shade to small, just burn the candle as normal and the wax will overflow down the insides of the jar without any problems. If it is a shade to large, you will have to carefully shave off a little wax to get the refill into the jar.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Place candles on a stable surface away from flammable objects.
• Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
• Extinguish candles before going to bed or leaving the house.
• Do not place candles too close together.
