Blessed with high-quality soil, Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture is one of Japan's leading producers of roof tiles. Using rich soil and craftsmanship, Cohana worked with Mr. Irakato of Awaji tiles to create a needle polisher with a flower motif.
The magnetic needle rest is a handy sewing accessory that can keep your sewing needles safe during your projects, plus a needle polisher is built in. Polishing your needles will improve the needle's path through the cloth.
Awaji roof tiles date back to 1610 when roof tiles were made for castle construction.
As this is a handmade product the colour of the glaze may be slightly different to the image, the beauty of a handmade product.
