Hand Dyeing with 100% Natural Dyes

Learn or develop your skills in our FelinFach Dye Studio. Located in the north Pembrokeshire countryside, our natural dyeing workshops are held in a purpose designed Dye Studio. All the yarn and scarves for sale on this website have been hand dyed with natural dyes by the Tutor of these Workshops - Hand Dyed Yarn  - Hand Dyed Scarves.

Current Workshops

The workshops have one Tutor and a maximum number of six students. We guarantee to hold each workshop irrespective of the number of students unless there is some unavoidable reason to cancel.

  • Indigo Dyeing Workshop – 1 day (to be created in September 2021)

All equipment and materials you need are provided. This includes all the yarn you need to learn natural dyeing, gloves and an apron. A notebook is also included for you to start your own Dye Reference record. By providing all you need, we hope that it will help you concentrate on the workshop and learn as much as you can.

Post Workshop Email Support

Taking in so much in a one-day workshop can sometimes be daunting - so to help you turn your workshop learning into practice, our workshops include 30 days post workshop email support to make sure your practical experience turns into natural dyeing at home.

Location

The workshops are held at the purpose designed FelinFach Dye Studio in a rural location in the SA37 post code area, near to the villages of Blaenffos, Boncath and Crymych, Pembrokeshire.

Cancellations and Refunds Policy

COVID 19 - If Government requires us to cancel a workshop, you can choose to have a full refund or be transferred to another Workshop at a later date.

Our company, FelinFach Natural Textiles is located in the heart of the Preseli area of Pembrokeshire near to Boncath. We design Welsh blankets and the iconic Welsh Tapestry blankets which are traditionally woven at Welsh mills. Offas Dyke is a 177 mile (285 kilometre) footpath that was officially opened on 10th July 1971. It is one of Britain's National Trails and is also Britain’s longest ancient monument.
