Our hand dyed yarn is made in small batches from the finest UK yarn together with some specialty fibres. All are hand dyed with natural dyes only, there are no exceptions!

• hand dyed yarn, made in our FelinFach Dye Studio in Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK. All the yarn is hand dyed by us - we do not 'buy in' any hand dyed yarn for resale.
• luxury UK yarn with some local Welsh yarn and specialty fibres.
• Wooltrace yarns - all UK yarns with full traceability to the farms and farmers where the sheep lived and grazed.
• natural dyes only, all ethically produced and sourced.
• variety of weights, 20 grams, 50 grams, 100 grams and 200 gram skeins.
• plastic free, eco-friendly packaging and carbon neutral shipping. All carbon emissions caused by our website activities are fully offset by trees we plant in partnership with Tree Nation. We are a Net Zero carbon emissions website.

Hand Dyed Yarn - Natural Dyeing Process

By using quality natural fibre and sourcing ethically produced natural dyes, we are able to produce beautiful hand dyed yarn. The colours from naturally dyed yarn are enthralling. Hand dyed yarns may be repeated but they can never be exactly the same. The natural dyeing process will depend on where the dyestuff was grown, how and when it was harvested, the fibres being dyed, and the method of application we use. Campaign for Wool

We have been an Official Supporter of the Campaign for many years. We aim to support British and Welsh farmers by sourcing our yarn from the UK together with some Welsh yarn. Our Yarn with Provenance Collection offers fully traceable yarn that guarantees fair pay to farmers, ensuring the welfare of their animals whilst supporting the sustainability of the British farming industry.

Yarn Shop

In addition to our hand dyed yarn, our yarn shop has a range of tools and accessories for the crafter, knitting and crochet projects. Brand names include, Laine books and magazine, Faire magazines, Cocoknits, Cohana, LYKKE, muud, and Thread and Maple. Lastly but not least we have our indiviually handmade yarn bowls with their distinctive leather handles.
