We are based in the SA37 post code area of the rural, north Pembrokeshire countryside in Wales. We are near to Newport in Pembrokeshire and Cardigan in Ceredigion. If you are visiting Pembrokeshire on holiday, make your visit a craft holiday with one of our natural dyeing craft courses. Our natural dyeing courses are suitable for singles, couples or adult groups, but not children. Expert tuition in a professional, purpose designed dye studio environment.
All our Craft Courses in Wales are held in our purpose designed Dye Studio in Pembrokeshire. There's plenty of parking and six workstations to accommodate up to six students with room to spare.
Learn how to hand dye protein fibres (animal fibres such as sheep wool, alpaca, yak and silk) or cellulose fibres (plant fibres such as cotton, linen, hemp and bamboo) using the traditional natural dyes. These craft courses are a hands-on learning experience using ancient dyes such as Madder, Weld, and Cochineal, to name a few, in their natural form as well as extract. You will leave with the knowledge to dye yarn and fabrics with lasting colour successfully to use in your projects at home.
There is a beauty and depth of colour to natural dye that becomes more beautiful with age. These courses open the door to that world of colour and you will be amazed at the colours you will be able to produce using Nature and a little knowledge!
Our yarn store and dye studio are based in the SA37 post code in Pembrokeshire, Wales. All workshops are held in the purpose designed FelinFach Dye Studio. The sat Nav postcode takes you to a farm one mile away, so is not that helpful!! The exact location, with directions and a map will be provided well in advance of each workshop.
Each craft course is held in the purpose designed and self-contained dye studio for up to 6 students at any one time. Each student has their individual workstation.
Our company is located in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Our ethos is defined in the three words, NATURAL TRADITIONAL HANDMADE.
We are a proud supporter of the Campaign for Wool, All Things Wales, Global Welsh and Red Dragon America.
