Archivist Brand
Archivist was founded in 1994 by Sarah and William Allardice to offer the highest quality Letterpress printed cards and stationery. As the company name might suggest; the archives of the Natural History Museum is where the company first began. Although the archives have changed, the enthusiasm for hunting for images has not gone. Collaborating with artists all over the world, the Archivist has created the finest range of British Letterpress Cards, Prints and lest we forget our luxury matches.

Letterpress Printing
Ink and Paper have always been central ingredients to the Archivist, and they are now owners of Britain’s largest dedicated Letterpress printing facility.
What is Letterpress Printing? Archivist explains it like this:
“Letterpress printing uses a press that inks the image then ‘stamps’ the paper. The process has changed little since the Gutenberg bible was published in 1455. These days a few of the manual processes have been replaced by engineering advances, but it is still guided through under the watchful eye of a master printer. The result is a product with a unique texture and an unrivalled finish.”
Candle Safety
It is always important to treat your 3 wick candles safely and with care. Please note the follow candle care advice...
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Place candles on a stable surface away from flammable objects.
- Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
- Extinguish candles before going to bed or leaving the house.
- Do not place candles too close together.
